While I'm at it...

While I'm logged in here, I might as well comment on some other things:

1. I bought Swiss chard. WTF. Suggestions?
2. I ran into my former personal trainer at the gym and told her "the big news". Now I kind of think she's pregnant...she had a few random comments. I was surprised that she knew that pregnant women should consume an extra 300 calories/day. I don't think I knew the exact # before I was pregnant...did you???

  1. I grew Swiss chard this summer. It's appealing because it's so pretty...but then you can't really use the colorful stems (unless you chop them up really small). I sauteed the Swiss chard with pine nuts and raisins and it was good. If you google those ingredients, you'll get a recipe. Also, I think trainers need to know that sort of information about calorie intake for people in different situations. I'm basing this guess on what the trainers seem to know on The Biggest Loser, so I might not be right.
